An Optimist Club is a voluntary organization of civic minded men and women banded together in the modern tradition for progressive thought and action in community service. Membership is by invitation only. A member fulfills his/her role by attendance at meetings, participation in projects, serving on club committees and boards, assisting in service projects and by inviting others to join in the club’s purposes. The Optimist Club is an affiliate of Optimist International.

You are invited to visit the Optimist Club of the Sandhills, which meets every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mac's Anytime Breakfast on Hwy US 1 in southern Pines.
